Cerebral Palsy or “brain paralysis” is a syndrome that can occur on infants and early age children. It can be defined as a group of postures and movements’ disorder that will cause limitation of activity which is attributed to non-progressive disturbances that occurred in the developing fetal or infants’ brain.

Usually, cerebral palsy syndrome caused by the damage of some brain’s parts. The damages may occur during pregnancy period, delivery time or a few months after birth. Besides that, cerebral palsy occurs resulting from a high fever.

Below are the usual symptoms of cerebral palsy:

• Lack of muscle control.
• Have difficulty in walking, talking, and controlling their movements because of the brain damage.

• Have lower level of intelligence.
• This will make kids with cerebral palsy experience learning difficulties.

• Skeleton deformities.
• The cerebral palsy patients will appear crooked.

• Paralysis on one side of body only.
• This symptom is depending on the location of the brain injury.
• If the damage is on the right side, then the left side of the body will be immobilized.

• Tremors and spasm.
• This symptom is resulting from the joints and muscles do not function properly.

• Loss of muscle control in mouth and tongue.
• This making the kid hard to talk, eats, and drinks.
• Excessive drooling.

• Having hearing disorder.
• Have visions problem.
• Have dental problem.
• Have difficulty in balancing and urinary urgency and frequency.
